Southside Public Water Authority offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

 

Payment By Check, Debit Card, or Credit Card Online

We have partnered with Nexbillpay to extend an additional payment option for customers interested in using their check, debit card, or credit card to pay their bill. Nexbillpay is a trusted third party automated payment service that allows you to pay your bill online. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for payments to be processed.

  • Bill payments can be made at any time, 24/7/365.
  • You will need your account number from your printed billing statement to complete your bill payment. You may request your account number by calling our office at 870-251-2508.
  • Nexbillpay charges a small service fee for each transaction.
  • Nexbillpay accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
  • If asked for validation, please enter only the LAST NAME that is associated with your account.

Please note: If you have moved to another location on our system, you WILL have a NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER. If you continue making payments using your old account number, payments will be entered on someone else's account.

Also, all current bills are due on the 20th of the month. Although new bills are not mailed until the end of each month, they will show up on your online account on the 21st so you may see a larger balance when paying after the 20th. Please pay the amount due on your bill or call our office and we can tell you the correct amount.

***IF YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED, YOU MUST CALL OUR OFFICE BEFORE MAKING A PAYMENT ONLINE TO FIND OUT THE CORRECT AMOUNT TO BE PAID IN ORDER TO HAVE YOUR WATER SERVICE RESTORED. IF THE CORRECT AMOUNT IS NOT PAID, YOUR SERVICE WILL NOT BE RESTORED UNTIL REMAINING BALANCE IS PAID. ALSO, YOU MUST CALL OUR OFFICE TO LET US KNOW THAT YOU MADE A PAYMENT. WE WILL NOT KNOW TO RECONNECT YOUR SERVICE UNLESS YOU SPEAK WITH US.***

 

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.

 

Payment by Telephone

To pay your bill anytime day or night, you can call Nexbillpay toll free at 844-368-1115. 

  • Pay your bill 24/7.
  • You will need your account number and balance due from your printed billing statement in order to make a payment over the phone. If you don't have your billing statement handy, you may request your customer account number and balance due by calling our office at 870-251-2508.
  • Nexbillpay charges a small service fee for each transaction processed over the phone.
  • Nexbillpay accepts Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.
  • Please allow 24 to 48 hours for your payment to be processed.
  • IF YOUR SERVICE IS DISCONNECTED OR SCHEDULED TO BE DISCONNECTED WITHIN 48 HOURS, DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. PLEASE PAY YOUR BILL AT OUR OFFICE OR GIVE US A CALL AT 870-251-2508.

You may also pay your bill by calling our office at (870) 251-2508. We accept debit/credit card payments and electronic check payments by phone. Nexbillpay will charge a nominal fee based on the amount of your bill and method of payment for using this service. Payments are accepted in our office Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

 

Automatic Bank Draft

The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account on the 10th of each month. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Bank Draft Form located at the bottom of this page or in the Forms & Reports section. You may drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.

 

Payment In Office

Due to COVID-19, our lobby is currently closed. You may pay your bill in person at our office address using our drive-thru window. We accept cash, check, money order, electronic check or credit/debit card. For all credit/debit card payments and electronic check payments, Nexbillpay will charge a nominal fee based on the amount of your bill for using this service. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy.

 

Payment by Drop Box

After normal business hours, feel free to drop your payment off in our convenient drop box located in the drive thru of our office. Please place all payments in a sealed envelope and include your payment coupon for faster processing.

 

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.

 

Return Check Policy

There is a $30.00 return check fee for any account that receives a return check or return draft. Once notice of a returned check is received in our office, we will mail you a letter giving you two weeks to take care of the amount of the check plus the $30.00 return check fee. All return check payments must be made in cash. If you do not take care of your return check by the date listed on your letter, your water service will be disconnected.
