The Southside Public Water Authority Board of Directors has over 140 combined years of service. Directors hold their respective positions for three (3) year terms.
Each December, Southside Public Water will notify the public of the upcoming board positions open for election. As pursuant to Article III, Paragraph IV of the Southside Public Water Authority By-Laws, a person wishing to be elected to the Board of Directors must make their intent known no later than thirty-five (35) calendar days prior to the Annual Meeting (held the second Tuesday in February of each year) by filing a form at the Authority office specifying the position that they intend to run for. In order to be eligible, the applicant must live on and be a member of the Southside Public Water Authority system.
